I couldn’t walk across a small room. I couldn’t breath especially in the heat. I couldn’t play with my grandkids. I couldn’t handle going in to 4XL jeans and shirts. I was on two different blood pressure medications as well as two different breathing inhalers at 260 lbs.
I am no down to the lowest dose on one blood pressure mediations and no inhalers at 165 lbs and still loosing. I can walk, ride a bike in the heat, easily get in and out of a vehicle and am no longer embarrassed to go in a store and try on clothes. I can play on the floor with my grandkids and get up without help! From size 4X to size 10!
The surgery (sleeve gasgtrectomy) is a tool, the diet is a lifetime commitment. It is hard and sometimes frustrating but so worth it. Dr. Patel has been supportive and encouraging. I couldn’t ask for better.
